I am part of a committee called “Workshifting,” where we provide opportunities for employees to develop, grow, and stay with JLL. I think it is important to engage every generation within the workforce, because shared knowledge and experience from both older and younger employees makes JLL stronger.

JLL gave me the support to walk the Camino, an amazing journey spanning more than 400 km from Porto to Finisterre. It was an amazing and incredible experience that taught me important lessons for that long-distance path called life.

I worked in Mexico City for 3 years with JLL, when I decided to cross the world to do a Masters Program in Real Estate Management, specializing in Sustainability. JLL supported me and gave me the opportunity to start working at JLL Barcelona while I completed my program.

Working alongside so many talented people has helped me move towards my long-term career goal of becoming a well-respected Economist.

JLL gives me the platform to integrate my personal ambition with my career ambition. Right now, I’m focused on building a diverse team and guiding younger staff, in the hope of inspiring them to find their own paths. I also lead several mentorship programs in local secondary schools in Hong Kong with a group of amazing JLL volunteers.

I am a retired US Navy Seabee. My ambition has always been to find not just a job, but a second career post-Navy and I've been able to do that with JLL.

Throughout my career, JLL has always supported me and offered me challenging and satisfying opportunities. But my greatest challenge came in 2012 when my wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. JLL was there: the flexibility, support, and compassion expressed towards my family and I was extraordinary.

My ambition is to change behaviors, so we can limit waste to landfill, recycle plastics and repurpose and reuse what we have.

My JLL career began in London, and has taken me to Geneva, Warsaw, London again, Chicago, Toronto, and now San Francisco. Collaborating with JLL colleagues around the world, I've learned that it is both possible and important to be true to myself in a professional setting, and to bring my whole self to work.
