JLL’s helping hand to school in Saraburi

By refurbishing a library at Baan Sub Cha-om School and setting up its first IT department to aid the children’s learning

April 04, 2019

JLL's Integrated Facilities Management team has recently spent their time together, refurbishing a library at Baan Sub Cha-om School, an underprivileged primary school in Saraburi Province, and setting up their first IT department to aid the children's learning.

JLL also donated 10 computers for the schools' new IT department along with desks, chairs and books for the library, sporting supplies including footballs, basketballs, a table tennis table and other urgently required items. The JLL team took the opportunity to provide a pizza lunch to the students who joined the library handover ceremony.

David Willcox, Head of Integrated Facilities Management at JLL, said "While JLL is involved with various charity events every year, the volunteering activity at Baan Sub Cha-om School in Saraburi Province was a very good experience where we had an opportunity to give direct support to the local community. This is the first step in assisting this particular school as part of continued support effort, to ensure we all give something back to the wider community."
