JLL donates to charity school in Klongtoey

Property consultancy JLL and their employees in Bangkok have recently made a charitable contribution to Klongtoey Wittaya School, a charity school near The PARQ, a prime office building where JLL’s corporate office is located.

Klongtoey Wittaya School provides free education to nearly 500 students in kindergarten and primary school levels. Most of the students are from families in the Klongtoey area. The school, whose operation is partially funded by the Ministry of Education, is in need for school supplies and healthcare items for its students.

On the donation delivery day, JLL handed over health care supplies such as face masks, hand sanitisers, ATK test kits and first-aid kits, stationery, children’s books and toys to the school. The firm also took the opportunity to provide ice cream as a treat to the students. In addition, JLL’s leadership and employees joined to make personal financial donations to support the school’s day-to-day operations.

The donation to Klongtoey Wittaya School is a part of JLL’s community program that includes a series of volunteering activities centered around CSR and sustainability, and aligns to the firm’s purpose to shape the future of real estate for a better world.

Other past charity activities by JLL in 2022 include:

• Beach clean-up day – A group of JLL’s employees from Pattaya and Bangkok voluntarily collected trash objects along 1,500-metre Wongamat Beach in Pattaya.
• Blood donation - JLL’s employees joined in a blood donation campaign, giving a total of over 15,000 cc of blood to the Thai Red Cross Society’s National Blood Center.
• Donation to the Women and Family Development Learning Center - This non-profit organisation offers a free job training to less fortunate women and families in Nonthaburi.
