M&A: Process and Services

The diagram sets out our end-to-end approach to supporting M&A activities, and closely parallels what takes place throughout an organisation in transition. Our four step process has been developed based on our global M&A experience: -Due diligence – gathering data on properties being targeted for M&A activity; -Options assessment – analyzing the CRE/F risks and opportunities that arise; -Quick Wins – the short-term return to the business of the most immediate financial benefits of M&A activity that will help to defray the cost of the subsequent transition; -Restructuring, Integration and Consolidation – the medium-term process of restructuring, which enables the longer-term benefits of the M&A activity to be realised.
